Processes of Teeth Whitening

  • Removal of food particles and bacteria from the tooth surface, the enamel is brushed with special pastes.
  • Recording of initial color: the color of the tooth is recorded to make comparisons later on during the treatment.
  • Moving the tongue and lips away from teeth: whitening chemicals may harm soft tissue such as lips and tongue, and these are moved away from teeth to prevent any possible harm.
  • Gum barrier: Gum tissue is protected with a barrier to prevent the whitening agent from harming it
  • Application of whitening product: the agent is spread over clean and dry surface and then is kept there for 20 mins. If the teeth structure allows it and quality products are used, it is possible to obtain a Hollywood white smile.
